Ultimate Spider-Man (Infinite Comics) (2015) - Field Trip (Part 1) is the seventh issue of the Ultimate Spider-Man Infinite Comics.
Nick Fury asks Peter Parker and Luke Cage to help him find some missing tech… undercover! But when it turns out they’re not the only ones looking for it, they have to suit up to take on a mysterious, mind-bending opponent!
At the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island, Nick Fury tasks Peter Parker and Luke Cage into going undercover to recover apiece of missing tech which can generate a miniature black hole and has been split into four pieces in different locations. The two of them search for the pieces until Peter sees a squashed penny machine with an "Out of Order" sign on it. He then senses something about it and believes it to be another one of Director Fury's tests until he sees it fall through a portal hole that shows the above position of the Statue of Liberty. Peter manages to use his web to save it until the hole disappears. The squashed penny machine crashes to the ground and reveals the first piece of tech that they've been looking for. Luke catches up with him and Peter explains about what happened and that he has a feeling that they are not the only ones looking for the tech. They change into the superhero identities until a very large portal spot appears causing them and the piece of tech to fall from the above position of the Statue of Liberty. On the head of the statue, a mysterious white costumed being with black spots sees them falling with the tech. The mysterious being uses a spot to transport half his body to catch the tech and Spider-Man and Power Man recognize him as The Spot. He then makes another portal spot to make them fall but Spider-Man drags him and the piece of tech with them. The fall to the location of the St. Louis Arch.
