The Spider Soldiers, also referred to as Spider Enhanced Super Soldiers, is Norman Osborn's brainchild.

History[]
Wanting to make Oscorp more successful, Norman Osborn hired Otto Octavius to help create spider-enhanced super soldiers using Spider-Man's DNA.[1] After sending out an Octobot to acquire a sample of Spider-Man, Octavius used the sample to create a living suit of armor after isolating the deadliest aspects of Spider-Man's DNA.[2]
Doctor Octopus later creates Spider-Soldiers using a fusion of Venom-like drones and Oscorp's armor technology. The Spider-Soldiers fight Iron Patriot and Spider-Man.
