Medusalith Amaquelin a.k.a. Medusa is the queen of the Inhumans.
History[]
Inhumanity[]
Triton is an exchange student from Attilan helping Spider-Man deal with Molten Man at the waterfront. However, Triton is under the impression because he is such a good fighter in Attilan, he doesn't need any back up. Upon returning to the Triskelion, Triton is revealed to be mistrusted by the other students. However, the fish-like inhuman is thrown into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody by Nick Fury when Attilan is above New York and Medusa declares war. Being the only one who believes he is not a spy, Spider-Man convinces Nick Fury to give the two time to solve this matter peacefully. It is revealed that Maximus the Mad had taken control over the royal family, and the true mastermind behind the attack. However, Spider-Man and Triton are able to stop him. As an apology, Triton is made the Attilan ambassador.
Agent Web[]
She appeared along with the other royal family upon learning Spider-Man and Triton's action on entering a sacred ancient Inhumans' lost city. However, knowing that Hydra started to enter first on imprisoning Nick Fury for a bait to capture Madame Web, and kills both Spider-Man and Triton, Medusa translated for Black Bolt to Spider-Man and Triton that he and the other royal family are not angry, but instead, proud of Triton and Spider-Man's actions for saving the city from Hydra, and return them to the SHIELD Triskelion.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Enhanced Condition: Her natural strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, metabolism & senses are at the peak of human ability, due to her inhuman physiology.
- Prehensile Hair: Medusa's most notable feature is her unusually long and luxurious red hair (six feet in length when fully relaxed), the strands of which are no thicker than the average strand of human hair and just as soft when she wills it to be. However, each strand possesses greater tensile strength and durability than steel wire of the same thickness, and Medusa has the psychokinetic ability to wield all of them like countless extra appendages. With concentration, she can move her hair in almost any manner imaginable.
