Plot[]

First Story - Take Me Out at the Ball Game[]

At the Ball Park, Peter Parker reveals that Nick Fury asked him to meet him at the Ball Park to teach him how to blend in like a S.H.I.E.L.D. spy. Director Fury interrupts his narration by scolding him that it is a mission. Peter complains to him about wanting to spend time together before concentrating. He shows Peter that the pitcher in the field named Hugh Dundee is none other than Boomerang. He also reveals that Boomerang disappeared off the radar and decided to hide before he assigns Peter to bring him in when he enters the club house between innings. Peter heads to the rest room to change into his Spider-Man costume and wanders if the mission will trend super heroes and villains playing sports. He finds Boomerang in the locker rooms and is surprised by Boomerang saying "Ya got me.". Boomerang reveals that he wanted one last shot at redemption and promises Spider-Man that if he can finish the game, he will come quietly. Spider-Man agrees to the deal but warns that he will be watching. Later, Spider-Man is watching the game believing he did the right thing before he sees Boomerang putting a boomerang at the manager's throat causing him to panic. Spider-Man enters the field and prevents Boomerang from harming the manager. Boomerang throws balls at him but Spider-Man creates a web bat hits a ball into Boomerang knocking him out. Later, Peter is trying to spend time with Director Fury much to his Fury's annoyance.

Second Story - Don't Rain On My Parade![]

Spider-Man is chasing Batroc the Leaper and Juggernaut who have stolen a suitcase from a S.H.I.E.L.D. lab. The two villains believe that he is outnumbered before Spider-Man's team appear to back him up. This causes the two villains to flee into a building. White Tiger reveals to Spider-Man that the suitcase contains launch codes for every missile in the western hemisphere. They chase the villains into the building but find that the villains have disappeared into a parade preparation. The teams separate with Iron Fist and Power Man together, Nova in the air and Spider-Man and White Tiger together. He asks a girl named Katie if she saw them but she instead claims that she saw one of the tuba players look like the Wizard. White Tiger reasons that they are a team that can work faster and points out that the only way the villains were seen by nobody is because they can hide in the parade floats. Spider-Man finds Juggernaut and Batroc but the villains flee again. Iron Fist and Power Man chase Batroc on a fire truck and distract him long enough for Nova to knock him down and drop the suit case. Spider-Man reminds White Tiger about the incident with the oven and he had to use Flash Thompson's jacket and they tie Juggernaut up and use the Human Torch float to drop on him. Spider-Man then defeats Batroc and the team are glad that S.H.I.E.L.D. will be proud of them while also wishing that they didn't have to wreck the parade but Nova points out that the people loved it and are calling it "The parade of the century". Spider-Man is glad that White Tiger knew what he was planning and they both agree about going home after looking at the tuba player that looks like the Wizard.
