Trivia[]
- When Phil Coulson shows Peter Parker the list of understudies, Miles Morales's name can be found just above Peter's name. In the Ultimate Marvel comics, Miles is the new Spider-Man after Peter's death.
- The Spider-Man actor costume that Coulson hands Peter is actually the Spider-Man costume from the mainstream Marvel comics minus the red spider symbol on the back.
- During the auditions scene, the second person wearing a Spider-Man costume basically resembles that of the Human Spider costume, that appeared in the 2002 Spider-Man film, starring Tobey Maguire, during the wrestling scene, between Maguire’s version of Peter Parker, as the Human Spider, and Bone Saw McGraw.
- It's possible that Peter might have kept the Spider-Man actor costume he used to to help fight off Trapster to have an extra costume.
Marvel References[]
- Trapster mistaking Flash in costume for the real Spider-Man is a reference to the comics where Doctor Doom did the same.
