Trivia[]

This is the first episode since the premiere episode that the S.H.I.E.L.D. trainees don't appear.
It is unknown how Peter managed to bring the Hulk back home despite his clear struggling of getting out from under him.
Peter trying to keep Aunt May from moving is similar to the first episode of the second season of The Spectacular Spider-Man, where he tried doing the same after her physical therapy.

Marvel references[]

When recovering at the Parker Residence, Hulk’s skin is almost gray, a nod to his original appearance in the comics.
Nick Fury offering the Hulk a place at S.H.I.E.L.D. is a reference to which in the Ultimate comics, Bruce Banner was working a scientist for S.H.I.E.L.D. and was held captive there for a time.
