Drax the Destroyer is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
History[]
Early life[]
Drax the Destroyer loose canon great fighter. He is is a leading member of the Guardians of the Galaxy alongside Starlord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon and Groot and Nova.
Guardians of the Galaxy[]
The Guardians battle the Chitauri an alien race led by Korvac. When Rocket Raccoon's ship is pulled into the Chitauri ship, Rocket fakes surrender so that they can free the captive Guardians of the Galaxy members. Afterwards, Spider-Man discovers that the Chitauri are planning to destroy the Earth. The Guardians plan to run the Chitauri ship into the sun while fighting the Chitauri forces. When their tactic does not work, the Guardians end up making their way towards the Dark Matter Cannon. While Nova and Spider-Man head to the Dark Matter Cannon, the Guardians fight the Chitauri and Korvac. After Korvac is defeated by Groot, Nova destroys the Dark Matter Cannon and the Chitauri ship is destroyed.
The Return of the Guardians of the Galaxy[]
The Guardians of the Galaxy land on Earth to repair their ship at the time when Titus was leading the Chitauri into claiming Nova's Helmet. After the Guardians of the Galaxy's ship is repaired, they helped Nova and Spider-Man fight Titus and the Chitauri. After Titus was defeated even when S.H.I.E.L.D. arrives, the Guardians of the Galaxy leaves with Titus in their custody while the remaining Chitauri escapes.
Powers[]
- Superhuman Strength: He is strong enough to temporarily knock out Thor with one focused strike. He was also capable of combating Titus on occasion.
- Superhuman Mobility: He is agile & fast enough to go toe-to-toe with Thor's enhanced speed as well as Gamora's speed & agility.
- Superhuman Resilience: He is far more resilient to damage than most species, being able to brawl with Gamora, Groot, Hulk & Thor without any visible injuries or broken bones.
- Rapid Cell Regeneration: Drax's physiology regenerates at a much faster rte than most species, aside from Groot. He is able to completely regenerate from extensive physical traumas & fatal wounds within the space of a few minutes.
- Swordsmanship: His greatest weapons are his two tribal blades, which he has used in combat & has perfected his fighting styles with them, via extensive training in the Kree's Arenas across the galaxy.
- Hand-To-Hand Combatant: He is a remarkable hand-to-hand combatant & has perfected his fighting styles in the Kree's arenas across the galaxy
